Summary of experience
· Seven years of experience in research activity in electromagnetic field analysis of which the last two focused on Non-destructive evaluation techniques based on electromagnetism (Eddy current testing and Magnetic Flux leakage testing). Developed parts for software analyzing the direct problem.
· For three years researched on the field of high frequency electromagnetic field computation. Developed a 3-D code based on FEM using both nodal and edge elements computing electric field in microstrip structures as well as transfer parameters.
· Strong experience in developing numerical analysis software for both low and high frequency electromagnetic field. Highly familiar with FEM and BEM method.
· Over 30 papers published in international journals and proceedings of international conferences.
Highlights of experience
September 2004 - present - Scientist with ABB Corporate Research, with the group of Power Device Modelling. Involved mainly in electromagnetic simulations of power devices but also in coupled electro-tehrmo-mechanical simulaitons.
September 2002 August 2004 Marie Curie Post Doctoral Fellow with ABB Corporate Research Center Germany. Involved in electromagnetic field simulations based on boundary elements method.

· Developed parts of 3D FEM based code (edge elements) for eddy currents problem (using Fortran90)
